Every prophets looking forward to your doom will cry in place of you. Mercy will save you and I.

Atimes when God speaks of his anger through his prophet to his people he wanted a change but if the prophet is now watching for negative news concerning the person, he may be disgraced like Jonah.

Nineveh received mercy from God and Jonah was bittered and cause himself to death.

There is no body God cannot save irrespective of your past, he is mercy.

There is no body God cannot save irrespective of your past, he is mercy.

If you can do what the people of Nineveh did to activate their mercy over destruction.

1. Believe:

The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth. Jonah 3:5

Humble yourself:

[6]When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust. Jonah 3:6

Acknowledge  your sin and act: This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink.

[8]But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Jonah 3:7-8

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity.

I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. Psalm 32:5

Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.”

[10]When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened. Jonah 3:9-10

Lord have mercy on me, family, ministry, community as you did to people of Nineveh to disappoint my enemy.

Anybody that always rejoice over other people's predicament always cry at the end when mercy speaks.

Those who knows that you are merciful but prefer my destruction let them be disappointed by your mercy for me.

Jonah 4:1-4

But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry.

He prayed to the Lord, “Isn’t this what I said, Lord, when I was still at home? That is what I tried to forestall by fleeing to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity.

Now, Lord, take away my life, for it is better for me to die than to live.”

But the Lord replied, “Is it right for you to be angry?”

So many people are angry because God did not destroy you as they forestall because of the mercy you received from the creator of the universe.

They careless of the number of lives that perish but if it happens in their custody they cried and murmur and careless of others experiencing the say things.

Some people are in bondage because nobody has told them the mind of God and the looming disaster that will follow their stiff neck.

[11]And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

Don't be selfish! Be merciful unto others too.

If you don't know Jesus before this is an opportunity for you to be saved from the looming disaster coming. May God have mercy on you and I, amen.
